COVID-19 and Salon Policies

In Effect Until Further Notice

Please read through this thoroughly, even if you've seen it before. State mandates are constantly changing and my policies may have changed since your last appointment.

*As of Wednesday, March 9, 2022, the town of Lexington has dropped its mask requirements inside public buildings and private businesses.  It is now optional to wear a mask in the building and inside my suite. If you require me to continue wearing my mask, please let me know.

 

IMPORTANT:

 

If you have recently been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19, or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 5 days, currently or in the past 24 hours have had a fever of over 99.9, cough, shortness of breath, or generally feel unwell, please reschedule.  If you are currently waiting on COVID-19 results or under self quarantine, please notify me as soon as possible to reschedule. If you exhibit any symptoms while in your appointment, a temperature reading will be taken by a touch-less thermometer to check for a fever.

 

* FOR THOSE THAT ARE VACCINATED: Now that more and more people are becoming vaccinated, some restrictions may not pertain to those who have been fully vaccinated. I am following all of the CDC and state guidelines for vaccinated individuals. These guidelines are constantly changing so please reach out if you have any questions.

* FOR THOSE THAT ARE UNVACCINATED: Please refer to the CDC website on requirements for quarantining.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT:

 

When you arrive for your appointment, please stay in your car and TEXT me at 781-799-4308 (please do not call), and I will let you know when you can safely enter the building. I would prefer you to text me instead of calling, it's easier for me to respond via text. Thank you.

THE PARKING LOT IS VERY BUSY! Traffic is increasing! Please leave yourself enough travel time and check traffic before your appointment. Leave yourself some extra time to be on the safe side.

Only client scheduled for the appointment is allowed in. At this time, there are no spouses, children, or other persons allowed to be in the building with you.

CANCELLATIONS / NO-SHOWS:

 

No-show appointments will be charged the full service cost to rebook. I am currently only taking 1 client at a time, so if you no show, I won't have the opportunity to fill that appointment time.  Please call, text, or log-in to your Vagaro account to cancel at least three hours prior to your scheduled appointment time to allow me adequate time to fill in the appointment. Please don't leave me hanging.

 

Please call or text if you will be late. This is important!! If you are late, the timing of your appointment will be adjusted accordingly and you may not be able to receive your full service appointment. Full original cost of appointment will still be charged. No exceptions will be made.

BLOW-DRY SERVICES:

 

I will be providing blow dry services if asked, but if you are immunocompromised or nervous about being in close contact for the duration of the blow dry, I suggest no blow dry and leaving with damp hair. A blow dry is always complementary with your haircut and there is no price change for no blow dry.
